but why would anyone still consult books when google is just a mouse click away I have no idea ....

Anyway... it's not like VB has changed a lot for you to buy the latest book... at most, it's just the interface.
Libraries collection of VB books would be good enough. If you want the latest, you can try these libraries:
1. Woodlands Regional Libary
2. Ang Mo Kio Regional Library
3. Jurong East Regional Library
4. Bishan Community Library
5. National Library
When going to the National Library, do not bring too many metal stuffs or you'll trigger the stupid security things and the security staff will scan as if you're one terrorist.
