VISTA BOTTLENECK MY e8400

  my processor is dc2 E8400,
  
  By right the windows experience index (PROCESSOR SUBSCORE) should show a rating of 5.6 or 5.7.
  But now it only shows 4.9. any ideas why?
  
  Even my AMD 6000+ shows 5.4

  Memory: 2GB Kingston 800mhz
  HDD: Toshiba 320GB SATA2

  Power Supply: Andyson 500W
  Display: Hanns.G 19inch DVI

  Mine is always around 3. But my system is faster than most people.
