do i have the change the whole motherboard or what? it shuts down once in a while by itself.

yes smallest fan in the whole thing, u sure it is just the fan itself?
hmm....i tink the fan can be replaced, im not sure, tink u can go down to simlim and ask around

If u can buy the same sized fan....u can replace it...
But before u try to find one....do this first.....
Take that fan....open the behind........u will see a small opening...drop an oil into it......u can use any oil....olive oil or motor-engine oil........then spin it abit, let the oil grease the fan...
Most faulty fans is due to the original oil being exhausted.

LOL... you don't have to buy a whole new motherboard just for the fan. Check if there's dust. If enough dust accumulates, it can't spin well.
And it will overheat fast.
