Help! i'm nearly tearing my hair out because of this issue. My laptop running on Windows Vista Home Premium is able to power on but it hangs after the green loading bar.
It simply hangs at a page with a colourful background but i am still able to move the mouse freely.
I tried to boot from disk and got the same result. When i tried to boot in safe mode, it hangs too.
All this happened after a windows update.
Now, with my desktop graphic card fried as well, i have to borrow my bro's laptop to use.
even worse den mine..
mine is sometimes hang at the vista screen, then after tat ok liao
urs is cmi..
see its windows update problem!!!!!!
see if u got any recovery partition and get into it to un-install ur windows updates.
hit F11 to get into the recovery partition
worst come to worst, try a reformat to see if it works.
may i know what model/brand are you using?
tried that, same result as when i tried to boot with disk. I'm stuck! I can't use recovery partition, can't boot from disk, can't enter using safe mode! WTH is wrong wif vista?!
my only last hope is to try downloading the Vista Recovery Centre application downloadable from here; http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/
Not sure whether it'd work though.
oh yes and im using Asus A8Sc
help anyone? i'm getting quite desperate..
i Tink that it may not be the software, since even the recovery do not work
bring it back to the service center?
service center....is the best option.
LOL... nothing much to help. Your graphics card fried. Get it repaired first and try starting Windows.
If it doesn't work, ask the manufacturer to do a reformat and re-install Windows for you.
