MS Word Problem

I just got a new laptop and installed MS Office 2007. There is a problem now. When I am typing wordings in MS Word, it seems to have a lacking time in between the words that I typed and when it appears on the screen. For example, if I type a sentence, and after finish typing, the words would slowly appear one by one. I do not have this problem with excel, msn, etc...
Can anyone advise?

Can't be the case as my ram is 3GB. and the problem only on word and not excel, etc

How fast is ur processor?
Did you open/use up many applications at the time when u typing document?

Normally, this gotta to do with your sys. memory .. Do a full virus scan .. Defrag and try again ..

I don't know whether it works for you, but you can try this out.
Before you try anything please close all visible programs.
-1a. For Vista : Click "Start" icon then type "regedit" in the box then press enter.
-1b. For XP : Click "Run" then type "regedit" in the box then press ok.
A window called "Registry Editor" will open.
-2. Go down the folders:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER->software->microsoft->office->12.0->word
-3. Remove the folder called "Data".
-4. Close "Registry Editor".
-5. Open up MS Word and try typing things into it.
It's no garantee so try this at your own risk. Be careful not to remove the wrong folder.
If all else fails, uninstall ms office, restart then reinstall it again.

That's the built in spell check. Can't believe no one got that. You can disable it.
