I can think of so many things that still need a keyboard and mouse to be efficient. I think it is more a catch up by MS.
If this is for a PDA maybe it makes sense. Even Tiger OS X needs the old fashion devices.
keyboard remains... for some reason
mouse will slowly die
then cleaners for LCD screen will be popular. But how to "pinch" a 20" screen? ;-)
Maybe for laptops. But I doubt if it's useful for desktop PCs, given that the monitors size keeps growing. It will be crazy for it to be touch screen.
I rather they upgrade the keyboards than do away with it
no keyboard cannot type away fervently, mouse would be a crucial factor for gamers
The gamers esp fps (first player shooters) will agree that a good mouse is 1/2 the game won.
While the mmorpg gamers, will argue that, keyboards are the most important "instrument" that will ensure their mmorpg success.
A keyboard withouht it's aesthestics will not be a keyboard -- it will be a touch pad instead
so let's see what microsoft could do..to revolutionize in the coming future...
i dunno how they wanna do it though. even with my ipod touch, i can only type one letter at a time..
i feel that is best to stick to the normal 1.. no changes

How many keys you want for a keyboard?
How about a holographic touch screen monitor instead?Taking some cues from the movie Minority Report, which is set in 2020s
