What's a good program?

  Let's say I want to upgrade my hdd to a new one. How do i transfer everything, windows, etc from the old drive into the new drive before installing it so then it will have all my settings, windows, themes, etc? Is norton ghost any good? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

  most of the times i use norton ghost. sometimes acronis.

  Gt other alternatives:

  Like using your current hdd as a portable hdd.

  Norton Ghost is good enough for most, but it costs a lot, as much as a MS Windows license. Same for Acronis.

  money is not an issue

  i will try ghost and see. People still prefer ghost to acronis, so I hope it has improved compared to 5 years ago when I last used it.
