That one. People complain got a lot of problems. Do you still have the Speedtouch modem? If still got, try using that. Although no wireless...
If not, switch it off, then turn it back on about 10 minutes later.

i nvr hv a speedtouch modem.
just now i switched off and on again right away.

normally got 3 greenlights
today only got 1, the power

Can you check that your power socket is working fine. Try other power sockets to be sure. Will need to wait another 10 minutes before turning it on again.

If still cannot, turn it off ba. Let it rest a few hours. If tomorrow it still doesn't work, then contact vendor ba.

Bring your modem to your neighbour's house to determine if your modem is fried.
If modem not fried, then maybe your line has problems.

you know what happened?
i was packing my modem to bring it down to the vendor, i saw the adapter sitting prettily in the box with the plastic wrapper still unopened.
that means the installer only installed the new modem for me when i recontracted my broadband, he used back my old adapter which is the same model.
So i took the new adapter and try, and viola!!!!!!!! the modem is working again!!!!
so it is the adapter problem.
so this saved me a trip down to the vendor

If he fries your modem, it will be crispy, so become biscuit lor.
Adapters got power rating... some modems cannot tahan high power... so the adapter is just made for them. If you use one that generates high power, your modem will be fried.
Spoilt adapter won't spoil your modem, unless electricity leaks. I got one that did that. I got shorted by the electric current running through... then spoil the modem. >.<

i also have the same prob with the modem, mine is keep on restarting, modem cannot save dsl, power light will go red, internet will go red etc....
brought it to playfair road the 2wire centre to 1 for 1 exchange
