Hey guys,
Just wondering what could be the reason behind this problem. When viewing my own blog, With "Block Pop-Up" disable, it seems fine with Firefox & Flock. but with Safari, a pop-up advert shows up. Any ides if the problem lies with my blog or comp? I am using mac and blog host is blogger. The pop-up advert seems to be from yeildmanager.com
browser safari don't have pop up blocker. :D
Got la...
But weird le. I tried my another comp oso the same.. no prob with firefox even with pop-up disable. Only happen with safari. Could it be my blog??
it could be ur blog skin.. anyway those popup blocker in safari dunno got update or not? it's not like firefox's adblock plus, no script, etc?
I checked my safari seems to be updated. I coded/created my own template, never make any changes to it and only recently i noticed the pop-up. External links that are included in my template are from photobucket, greenpeace website, sitemeter, blogger choice award and google ads. Unsure if one of it is the 'cause' of the pop-up.
yield manager.com sounds like some adware...
a search on google.. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080116131905AAUygQU
Thanks cuddles. I did search on it as well, hence I had done a scan on my comp but it's clean. OH.. I think it is my cbox.. I removed it and no more pop-up ads.
