hi, i got directed here by a friend.
recently i suddenly found that i couldn't log on onto yahoo, and my internet speed slowed drastically, i thought it was only a temporary thing since i occasionally get slow speeds during certain times of the day and there are times when i can't log on but this dragged on to a few days.
when i checked with friends i was told its highly likely i got hit with spyware and its best i seek help asap .
i've tried reformating the computer but i only ended up with a computer that can't get any futher than my homepage. i can't seem to do anything that needs a password, can anyone tell me whats going on?
thanks in advance

What is your Operating system. What is your internet service provider.

so its completed reformat anot? if so then check internet connection...
Do you overclock? I see overclocking software. While I'm not sure if that would in anyway affect, if your hardware starts to fail, that could be the reason why your internet speeds are getting slower.

yeah i did it once before last year when i got a virus from opening a cd key thingy i downloaded so i used the win cd again and reformated my c drive but i think there was a small d drive or something would that affect too? haha i don't actually know what to do so i actually reformated my c drive 3-4 times already but internet's now working yet, i can only load pages like yahoo.com or msn.com but if i click any links the site just hangs so i can't log onto my email. when i tried to follow instructions to scan and post the log file, my browser froze again at the point where i clicked the upload button @ the mediafire site. -_-" so i'm actually doing all this from another com

Starhub users should experience slowdowns during peak hours, like at night when most users are back from work and school and surfing the Net.
Get Starhub technicians down to check. It doesn't seem to be any virus issues.
You can do a system error check disk, but I suspect something is wrong with your router/modem configuration, maybe you need to change some of the security settings/ MAC IDs/etc.
