Ndmmxiaomayi or more commonly known as mayi was last detected @ Sgforums on the 18th April 2008. Following that. She has gone missing without a trace.
Her last Msn Nick was " Considering to join the Navy" ...
Could she? No she couldnt have!!
Note: In Sgforums aka singapore, it is illegal and wrong to kidnap someone. This offence is punishible by law and it carries a death penalty.
So please PM!/ reply! if you have any news about Ndmmxiaomayi or alternatives to mayi!

Good question. Answer is - lack of details. All I know is they say is attractive nia, got this benefit, got that benefit. Their webbies said that, the personnel said the same thing.

mayi, think carefully abt joining the navy. Honestly, I think it'd be a waste of your abilities.
The navy is seriously short on manpower at the moment, that is why u see a lot of aggressive recruitment campaign going on. Literally, trying to pian shang zei chuan.
I considered this option some months ago as well, but I managed to do sufficient research and asked people who were in the navy for the full picture. Its not a pretty picture at all. The turn around rate is very high there.
If you're looking for career opportunities, let me know. I get some lobangs now and then. Esp if its IT line.

Research is more or less done... thanks to all the Navy personnel. They are too honest for their own good.
My cousin who is working for CMPB says that SAF and Navy is forever short of people. I now know why Navy is so short of people.
As for the lobangs, I would like to hear about them.

Well, most of the Navy ppls I know are honest cos they really "went through" a lot during their time in service. No surprise, a lot of them request for early release.
As with all civil sectors, academic qualifications is key to a good promotion rate. Other factors that hinder that would be BMI, IPPT, and performance. In otherwords, doing well in the latter areas may not increase promotion rate, but not doing well would surely be detrimental. At least, thats what I see when I read between the lines.
With this kinda policies in place, its no wonder they have a manpower shortage.

Temp... not going to get something permanent as I have no idea what I will do next. Programming I suck... sigh. System administration sort or tech support is still fine.
Oh... BTW, Air Force is never short of people. I don't know why. It's just SAF and Navy...
