Hi..seems that my Outlook have a little wierd problem.
I have Microsoft Office '07 Enterprise, and Outlook came with the installation naturally.
Setup and running of all programmes was fine, until i opened Outlook.
The moment i closed it,for some reason the Setup Wizard launched and started to like... install Outlook again.Same goes for the rest of Office such as Word and Powerpoint, where an installer each would launch when i clicked them too.
However no problems is reported when i click any Office programmes(except Outlook) prior to the Outlook program.
Already repaired Enterprise twice(and counting),but problem is still persisting.
is it a pre installed set that comes with your machine, which is just a trial version?

No. Its a fully validated version which i installed on my PC.
Morning...has mayi resumed duty?
It requires you to install right?
Put in the office 2007 CD.
Click on outlook.
2 possible outcomes: one it will open normally
or two, it will ask for you to install. Try installing.
Enterprise version. CD or network installation?
Either way, ignore it. Doesn't really seem to affect anything other than being an irritant.

CD,via .iso file
Actually,it does more than being an irritant. After i launched Outlook once, the rest of the Office suite cannot be run anymore and installers will launch when i attempt to launch one(i.e Word)
I dont dare to try troubleshooting further because after my 2nd repair(the 2ne time being an troubleshooting attempt) of the Office, the 3rd one failed and i ended up System Restoring back prior to the 1st install to start again.
Thing is,i dont need nor use Outlook but i want to know if the Enterprise CD itself is stable(w/o problems) because im thinking of installing on other PCs and want to save the hassle of undoing the dmg.
Hmm... probably have to try a reinstall.

Download Windows Installer Cleanup from the link. Then uninstall Office Enterprise. Restart your computer and run Windows Installer Cleanup. If Office Enterprise is still present... remove it.
Then try reinstalling. During the installation, there should be an option not to install certain components (if I recall correctly), untick those boxes and they will not be installed.
Actually, there's no options to choose when the Enterprise CD is loaded. The moment i activate the auto-run utility, the installation start right away.
What i did was to click launch the install wizard after the installation to remove the Outlook program.
I wonder if the removal of Outlook screwed up the rest...
Nope,they are running fine now.
So are u certain that its the PC OS problem and not the CD's?
The CDs shouldn't be a problem. More likely it's the OS. MS screws up about everything I know.
