Insufficent system resource

I offedmy comp for 2 days, when i restart again, it told me windows have recovered from a serious error.
it cannot open my ext hdd, it says insufficent system resource, when i restart, it says windows cannot load the user environment, insufficent system resource....
i cannot transfer my stuff over to new comp now

Microsoft way of saying Happy Earth Day! They asking you to off your computer and save some resources.
If you just wanna copy stuff, just uplug your internal HD from the broken computer and plug into the new computer. Then you can copy over. -

but this comp 6 years liao, bound to have many probs
i tink if i reformat it, it would be better

transfer data can la... You take out the hard disk and put in the newer system as a slave disk...

If your internal HD is failing, reformatting it won't make a difference. Best to transfer all your valuable data out as soon as possible.
You can try external drives, burn to several DVD/BR discs, or connect it to another PC with the same IDE/SATA connection.
