Go to this webbie - http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Scroll down and find this - Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 6
Click on Download. Select Offline installation, download it and save it.
Close all opened programs and save your work before installing it.
Then see if it's working now.
