help infected with W32.IRCBOT virus

  I downloaded some rakion hacks.. scanned it with Norton Antivirus.. but dunno how come .. never karna detect.. Mine Norton is 2007. upgraded with liveupdate.

   

  what to do now?

  How had you confirmed if your computer is infected?

  Please try Kaspersky Online Scanner

  norton had a full system scan .. it then informed me it was a high risk file and removal of the infected file failed

   

  i removed the specified file that norton says to recycle bin and emptied them.. but dunno if the virus still there..

  Do the free online scan and see how.

  As long as you have not run the file, it should be safe... Unless the virus came in from another backdoor

  i RAR it already to extract..

  never believe in hacks... You want, you write yourself lor...

  Anyway have you scanned? If not, just do the online scan first.

  Ever since when hacks can be trusted...

  Can you perform the online scan first and do nothing to your computer.
