  I m do not really know about Cameras nor follow the trend on camera specs nowadays, so please pardon me if i m wrong

  This camera has a wide lens which is good, as it allows you to capture more image, scenery. Compared to one tele lens.

  Next, a higher Iso will enable you to caputre and take shorts in the dark, but with more noise (those images with lots of dots, like when you take a scene in the dark using a 0.3 megapixle camera) this camera has up to 1600ISO and a lowest of 80iso, quite good and comparable to some prosumer cameras i ve used (Panasonic Fz18) and better than a few cameras of the same mega pixle.

  shutter speed is within the acceptable range for cameras 1/1500 to 1/2000.

  Anyways, Certain samsung cameras are rebadged as Pentex and vice versa.

  Samsung = pentex

  Some pentex and samsung cameras are from the same plant. =)

  Yes, It's quite a good buy, price wise?
