Record webcam?

  Hi, would like to know, is there any way a video from a webcam can be recorded? One of my taiwanese friend is showing me a trick through his webcam, and I want to record it down so I can practise it.

  The most straightforward way would be using a video capture software like SnagIt which would record whatever that is shown on the screen as a video file. Some even allows the user to select a small part of the screen to capture. However, most of them out there are not free, but you can either google hard enough to find an open-source equivalent or just take the shortcut and dig for it in torrent sites.

  Thanks LatecomerX for the info, but to spend money on such programme is not really worth it,

   

  Nevertheless, does anyone has any free software for the webcam recording?

  i dnt know of free wares,but there are many softwares which can do tht.Google is ur best frnd
