Seeking for creative solution:
Is there any ways i can install War of world craft III & frozen throne / Dota with Vista ?
why don't you type that in google?
I got this from another source:
"I installed WoW onto my laptop with Vista to the default directory without a problem, not sure what the problem is with yours"
" If you want to install a patch on Vista, it's worthwhile to run wow as an administrator. By that I just mean when you click on the WoW icon to launch it, right click and select "Run as administrator" instead. I could not get the patch to install without doing that, and it may resolve other installation issues as well. "
Vista while claiming to be more secure, is actually quite dumb in their own ways.
1. You can create or delete folders in the root of C drive, but not files. Deleting or creating files require extra permission
2. You can't create or delete files and folders in Program Files, ProgramData folders. You need extra permission.
3. Referring to number 1, although you can do funny things without needing extra permission, but if you want to patch something and try it without the permission, nothing works.
