Got me a Zyxel router last night..managed to establish a wireless connection between two PCs..however, the PC with the Wifi adapter could not get the internet browser to be working (meaning that i cant surf the web) despite getting a good strength signal and established a connection..This is driving me nuts!

Were there any Cd drivers given?
Not sure if Starhub has MAC blocking... there are several unsecure wireless Starhub users and I can surf the Net with them...

Most SH has mac blockings. (including mine)
But i think it's an added service. must pay $ during the installation.

If added service... means some will not know...

I m quite uncertain that it's mac blocking.
But, if master-_- just bought a new router, mac blocking should not exist.
for mac blocking to exist, you must configurate the router and add on the physical addresses of the computer.
thus, i think is driver issues?
edit: certain become uncertain.
Might be drivers issues. Let's solve it one by one.
Wifi adapter - Using USB or PCI ?
Router settings - I can't help, I'm on the red tube.
But here are certain settings to check.
First... find the default gateway of your router. (Start > Run > type in cmd, press Enter > type in ipconfig /all and press Enter)
From there, log in to the router and configure it. The rest Kenneth will help you. Check the settings carefully.
