  guys... i have just bought a toshiba r500 2 days ago... its facing some problems.. where does the problem lie in?

   

  the DVD drive canot read any cds or dvds why??

  then when i checked with my computer.. it states that its working fine.. why?

   

  need help soon

  yes.. whenever i put a cd inside.. they say cant find cd.... duno y..

  even blank cd

  i tink there is a 1 to one exchange for the laptop however...  i do not want any data to be lost... could that be done?

  If it's a 1 to 1 exchange, you will be given a new laptop.

  This new laptop is not setup yet. Thus it will be at it's factory installed state. In order to prevent any data to be lost. you must back it up first. After that, transfer it to the new laptop.
