Firefox problem

  Recently when i tried to download a torrent from mininova.org using firefox, it will sort of closed immediately, anybody knows how to solve this?(some other websites also got problem(but using IE no problem)

  Erm... Firefox is not a torrent program.

  Try a site that has no problems opening torrent files. When prompted to save or open, set it to open with a torrent program.

  that's what i meant... when trying to open.. it auto close firefox

  Hmm...

  Wonder what caused that.

  Try creating a new profile and use it.

  Clear the download history

  Click "Tools -> Downloads -> Clean Up" in the Firefox menu.

  If if clearing the list doesn't help or it causes Firefox to hang or crash (or if the Downloads window is already empty), you will need to manually delete the download history, as follows:

  Oh...

   

  1. Open My Computer.
     
  2. Go to Tools > Folder Options.
     
  3. Select the View tab.
     
  4. Scroll down to Hidden files and folders.
     
  5. Select Show hidden files and folders.
     
  6. Uncheck (untick) Hide extensions of known file types.
     
  7. Uncheck (untick) Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
     
  8. Click Yes when prompted.
     
  9. Click OK.

  Find your profile... then delete the downloads.rdf file.

  Alternatively, you can use CCleaner...
