  i am a vista user...always wanted my appearance to be like XP so i go dl a windowsblinds program but you all know where can download the blinds ma?

  Seriously, I think you should just install Windows XP instead especially if you're not one of those gamers who play the latest games that require DirectX 10.

  WindowBlinds is by Stardock.

  If you like XP skins, I suggest you use XP instead.

  If you like the classic Windows skins, you can change a few settings in Vista to show that.

  however, it is not a freeware and you must pay $19.95.

  It is also, not worth it. I have used it before, it's kinda overated, ovrehyped and quite confusing.

   

   

  Note: please do not ask where or how to download the cracked version, I m not saying.

  but is it true that using for example a XP skin your computer performance will improve?

  I haven't heard of anyone tweaking Windows skins improving their system speeds. At the most, you get something you are familiar with.

  Anyway... to improve performance in Vista... turn off Aero and unnecessary services.
