  kennth regarding the popup of questionmarket

   

  it doesnt pop out every now and then de..it is like once in a while...when l am usin the com, it jus pop out fro nowhere..

  then after leaving it there for away, it jus disappear away.

  the timing for the popup is not fixed, l shld say and l hav post my logfile in the previous page.

  then i dont think there is much to worry about as of yet, except the annoyance/ Qoologic hijack case

  Log looks clean.

  • Please download Deckard's System Scanner from Tech Support Forum and save it to your desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
  • Save all your work and close all opened programs.
  • Double click on dss.exe to run it. Follow the prompts.
  • When the scan is complete, two log files will be produced. The first one, main.txt, will be maximized, the second one, extra.txt, will be minimized.

  Found your problems.

  Kindly don't use any P2P programs while we are cleaning.

  1. Download Flash_Disinfector.exe and save it to your desktop. Double click to run it. When prompted to plug in your thumbdrive, do so and click OK.

  Repeat for all the thumbdrives that you have.

  2. Uninstall these programs. After that restart your computer.

  a. NavExcel Search Toolbar

  b. NAXW Client (Internet Edition)

  It's OK to continue without plugging in any thumbdrives. Funny thing though, it shows that you've used a thumbdrive before.

  Can you try restarting your computer then uninstall it?

  mayi , yea, l do hav a thumbdrive originally but l hav given it away le.

  so no thumbdrives to plug in..

  as for the 2 applications, l go to the control panel and did located them, but sumhow they jus cant be remove.

  when l attempt to remove the navexcel search toolbar from the add or remove program. Nothing seems to happen lo. It jus wont disappear

   

  and when l wan to delete the Naxw cilent (internet edition), it shows sumtinz like tis. Both looks like they cannot be delete off.
