  Need to do a project on microsoft frontpage.  I don't have frontpage with me and apparantly FP is discontinued by microsoft ages ago.  Therefore, I have to resort to this.

  Can I get caught? I am on service pack 2, windows xp.

  And no, can't use alternative programs :(

  when u get caught, just be honest with the reason
  and get a good lawyer

  why u need frontpage... What are you planning to do? If it is a website, there are other softwares like dreamweaver

  yeah, that's the thing, i rather use dreamweaver for this, but the lecturer mati2 want us to do with frontpage...

  aiyah use dreamweaver first. Then delete the top part of the htm file with notepad, then ask someone who has frontpage help you open and resave it

  Tada, shud get a frontpage document for submission

  Seems a bit silly to me. Why would a lecturer require you to use software that is no longer sold or supported?

  That's like a course requiring you to submit spreadsheets in Lotus 1-2-3.

  That save in dreamweaver is a grand idea, but my comp with DW is down. :(

  Hm, I need to know how to cover my ass while using FP. I will install it and uninstall after I am done. So not worth it if I am caught.

  Just go ahead and use it.

  Unless you are really unlucky, you will not be detected @ all.

  If you are still afraid, uninstall after you have used it.

  cannot get caught one la... lots of uni students are doing it anyway

  not as if you are going to use if for any major business operation

  Show your teacher this: http://ittraining.lse.ac.uk/Documentation/whatsNew/frontpage2003.htm --- look under Tools > Optimize HTML

  Go ahead and use other HTML editors.
