i worded wrongly. i only use it for pics. music n other stuf. of course games all that can la. its a storage device mah.
The brand to look out for is Prestigio, I was helping my uncle advertise these, it runs a samsung SATA HDD, 2.5", alluminium alloy casing with seperate 3 years, 1 to 1 exchange scheme for both casing as well as HDD.
Reason for selecting the Prestigio branded HDD is because of the accessibility to Samsung Service Centres, where one is situated right at Level 6 of Sim Lim Square.
Other brands such as Western Digital, Seagate, Kingston do not have a service centre in the more accessible areas, they are usually situated at the Changi area.
*Additional note - My sister and friend they both got a Seagate as well as Western Digital, both were defective and my sister's friend had to take a 40 dollar cab to get it exchanged(in and out, on call) service centre DOES NOT answer calls and exchange over the counter is not available ( will be send via 3rd Party delivery ).
Samsung will allow OTC trade one-to-one, and has less tendency of defective products. None of my IT fair customers reported defective products.
Slightly more expensive(by a couple of dollars up to 20) but long-term investments in Quality and Durability.
250 went at $189/- (nett) at the IT fair, should go for at least 195-205 now.

I've done some research on this product. Do bear in mind that the Red Dot Design Award is based on the artistic qualities of the product, not the performance. I've read that generally the Freecom performs moderately, but the RPM of the harddrive is slower. it's slower in all aspects in general.
Btw, the price has already dropped. They sell it in Courts, 169 SGD for 120GB
