This happened recently to my desktop. My IE7 closes by itself while i'm watching video. This did not happen only once , but 3-4 times.
So just now, my msn closed by itself too. Can someone help me??

did it be4. but it still happen.
Jay, i remember that u are using vista right?
This is a common problem for all vista users. Sometimes WLM will automatically close by itself. (in my opinion it is due to all the bandwidth being transferred to the IE and none to msn, thus it closes by itself.)

sorry, it's windows xp business sp2.
desktop running on xp , laptop running on vista.
so the abv problem u mentioned, it supposedly doesn't happen on xp users?
I have been using xp for about 3 years before hopping to vista last year.
Never really encountered the IE closing by itself. Except crushing it. (only once when i overloaded it with flash applications, java tabs) But most prob if your video is of large volume. It might cause ur WLM to logoff.
I have encountered WLM logging off in xp b4. (quite normal)
Watch video. With IE or with a media player. If it's a media player, state the version + media player program you are using.
MSN closes - as in the whole MSN program icon disappear from the system tray (near the clock) ?
Can you check that msnmsgr.exe is still running in Task Manager.

With IE lor. Some web video player.
Yeap. From the tray.
Currently, yes.
Oops. For the MSN Messenger problem, when it disappears from the tray, check if it's still running in Task Manager.
Hmm... for the IE issue... can you tell if it's using Windows Media Player plug in? The video player looks very much like Windows Media Player if it's playing using Windows Media Player plug in.
Which site?
