Acer DVD Drive cant read particular disc.

  When i pop in that disc into Acer's DVD-RW drive,it was unable to read the content of the disc and instead said that there was no disc inside!

  But,when i popped it into my laptop's DVD-RAM drive,it was able to detect the content of the disc.

   

  Also,its not a DIY "homemade" disc but rather a game disc(CABAL beta,to be exact) with an autorunner included.Totally new since i just collected it today.

   

  How do i make the drive read the disc?

  I collected the disc too ^_^
  
  I seem to have no problem detecting the disc though. Maybe you can try using a iso of the disc and see whether you can read it in daemon tools or alcohol 120%

  dun think you should set any DVD regions in the first place... there's only 5 attempts before it gets locked i think... then you wont be able to play DVDs in other regions le.

  Both DVD Drives has not been region-set yet(i.e left blank aka region free)

  i would recommend not setting anything but instead go to sites like gameburnworld to find something to "unlock" the region coding in the discs if there's any. find something basically to remove copy-protection.
