1. I used this article for reference while I was building my first system from scratch weeks ago.
2. Hmm, I remember there were some issues with the LG 20x DVD-RW burners a few months back. You may want to google its exact model name for online reviews before getting it. And do consider switching to a slight better motherboard that can support at least DDR2-667 RAM, since those RAM sticks only cost a few bucks more than their 533 counterparts and will supposedly give you better performance. Besides, getting a better motherboard will probably enable you to overclock your CPU further (if you are intending to OC in the first place).
hard disk missing.
get 2x1gig ram to take advantage of your mobo dual channel capability.
Thank you very much for your comments. I have read them through and revised my specs.
They are:
GA-73 PVM-32H NVIDIA7100 wVGA + sound +Glan + micro ATX
Processor Core 2 duo 4500 (not sure if this mobo suits this slow processor)
2 x 1Gb RAM kingston 800mhz DDR2 (800 mhz to make full use of my mobo)
Samsung SATA DVD RW ( no more LG, life aint very good with such expensive specs)
Harddrive 160Gb (i donnt think i need much disk space. A game is prolly at most 3 gb)
Plus casing and OS, my budget will have to increase to more than 600 :D
More comments are deeply appriciated and welcomed.:D

Everything looks good, though you may want to consider a 250GB or a 320GB HDD instead. The cost per GB is lowest for these two models, thereby getting you the most value out of your president-face papers.
sigh... XP pro is so expensive!@!!

You can always use the unofficial trial version de ma, then make the purchase once you are able to afford it. *points at a ship with a skull logo on its flag*
Eh, if you already have XP (legal version), just call up MS and re-activate. No need buy again. Just tell them you've bought new hardware can le. They are very kind one.
