Help with desktop needed.

This happened to my friends computer.
I am posting here to seek help for her.

Exactly after 30s when i log on.
everything is as per normal.
Msn starts.
An error report pops up.
winlogon.exe has encountered a problem and needed to close.
the start button changes back to the old button.
then blue screen shows and the com restarted.
A photo was taken and this is wad the blue screen shows:
TOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The windows log on process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of
0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.
Can it be salvaged or GG?

With just 30 seconds, I don't know what to do.
First step - Follow this part of MS KB article as provided by GIB
1. At a command prompt, type in %systemroot%\System32\Drwtsn32.exe -I, and then press ENTER. This command configures Dr. Watson as the default system debugger.
2. At a command prompt, type %systemroot%\System32\Drwtsn32.exe, and then select the following options:
- Append to existing log file
- Create crash dump
- Visual Notification

You will find a file named mayi.txt in your C drive or wherever Windows is installed. Post back this file.
