hey guys, i have this philips headset which i bought a couple of weeks ago and it doesnt come with a driver.
i play counterstrike source and other players complain that my mic is very very distorted with background noises.
when i plug the headset into my comp with usb, it works perfectly fine with no problems.
however, when i plug the mic and headphones cable into my soundcard (creative xtreme audio), my mic would SUCK. but the sound is perfectly alright.
i tried to fix this problem with windows settings, but i can't seem to find the correct mic adjustment settings. PLUS, my headphones did not come with a driver. i presume the problem lies with my soundcard and i don't know how to change it.
should i buy a new soundcard? should i buy a new mic? or should i just change some settings from windows.
my headphones is barely 1 month old and my CPU is barely 3 months old.
help pl0xxx
what do u mean by suck?
very very distorted with background noises?
you do not need to go and get a new comp nor mic. just go adjust the sound settings of your sound card. there's a mic setting if i m not wrong.
If not just pliuck it into your usb.
Drivers -- find on google, type in the model number of the headset and mike.
