  My copperhead screwed up....

   

  Something fell on my table where my cpu was on, t hitting anything but my comp still managed to hang, had to open up the casing to see if anything was loose, reboot and voila!!!

   

  The mouse then decided to go on strike and went on to do nothing but "blink" every few seconds.

   

  Reinstalling drivers and updating did not help.

  You siao ah. Your post sounds more like one of those in Whinehouse. What was the object that fell anyway? And what do you mean by "blink"? Try nudging the USB ports on the motherboard, plug the mouse to another port, or plug a spare mouse if you have one to narrow down the possible causes of this issue.
