Vista Transformation Pack 8.0.1 - It’s finally here!

Vista Transformation Pack 8.0.1 is released. Please obtain an update immediately to secure your system performance and stability

Sadly that I couldn’t bundle a user guide of this release together with the product since Maeroris doesn’t have much time to work on it and I already promised to release it in middle of this month (which seems to be late already). To be frank, this version is mainly the same to previous ones except “Aero Glass without WindowBlinds” and “WinFlip” featured with overall improvements such as:

-Fixed crappy hotfix issue, no more workaround trick required to avoid that
-Ability to save transforming information for later uses and unattended transformation
-Ability to detect the targeted machine and give suggested setup configuration
-Some transformation procedures refinements you should look at like pre-configure on first run, removed obsolete dialogs and msn skin, etc.
-New 3rd-party apps and new version of existing apps

And yes, it’s free still without paying few hundreds for some certain stuff you like in Vista.

To download, please check out the Vista Transformation Pack page, seeing how it improves from previous version and download it from JCXP.

Please don’t forget to download Vista Transformation Pack 8 - User Guide also, it’s very handy document for complete Vista’s experiences.

If you get an error on execution and using intel graphic driver, please try fixed driver to get Vista Transformation Pack runing fine.

aiya their stupid vista transformation pack is kinda crappy

1st . you MUST have at least 1.5GB RAM if not your comp will lag

2nd . the Vista Start menu button ( ViOrb) is kinda lag , when u press it for the first time,it doesnt respond , for the second then it will respond

3rd , I dont' know why they included Windows Sidebar ( the original unfinished sidebar of the Vista Sidebar) into the installation package. Users may think, this is vista sidebar? omg its so crap !

4th , It may crash your system , you won't know when . but because this is modification to your system files

Let me tell you then, the actual vista is worse than what you said.

I have used Vtp for quite long and it is not what the above person said.

1gb ram IS sufficient, for xp like performance.
ViOrb, is not what you said, i have double checked and out of 10 tries, only 2 tries then it will respond twice. that was because i was using wmp, opening lastchaos (a game).
How crap is it?
I grew up with this bugger since vista transformation pack 5, so far, no crushing. It depends if you are heng or sway. And your com specs.

Tested on: 9feb 2008, 7.30am, using a xp pro, with 1gb ram and is running on a 2.0ghz Intel centrion processor

The big clock is the sidebar.

Anyway I am using 768mb ram here, I disabled ViOrB + GLASS + Vista Menu to get it work better.

ok done. morning, turned on computer, sidebar is there. now, how to install Calendar skins? already downloaded. instructions stated on thoosje.com wasnt even helpful. now the Calender skin folder contaning almost 200 skins is left abandoned on desktop. cannot delete due to reason like "used by another programme" etc

edit. calendat skins deleted. able to delete after some time. can anyone else share the joy of VTP? the skins etc? i'm really liking this pack. it show my HDD 70% used! when i look at control panel, only like 30% used. hmmm.

dont think i need the user guide, already contented with the pack now. i want it looking simple, with just the skin and theme.
