How to type in a different chinese font?

Hi all. Happy new year. I need some help here. I wish to type in some kind of fancy fancy chinese font but after i installed the fonts into my fonts folder and use my NJcommunicator to type in chinese, the font doesn't appear... it is still the original plain chinese font. Anyone knows how can I get this to work?

first you will need to know that the fonts you installed is a true type fonts ... also bear in mind that true type fonts can only worked in software that is able to change fonts ... for example MS Office, Open Office, PageMaker, PhotoShop etc
chinese font is more complicated also take note of the font you downloaded is a big5 or gb code

finally solved it. changed it to zhong wei GB and the font shows :)

anyway, u can typed in the original then change the font.
anyway, not all fonts supports all chinese chracters =(
