Vista installation discs

  Hi,

  My notebook comes pre-installed with Office Student 2007 and I bought the licence. However, I don't have the installation disc. Is it possible for me to get one without incurring any extra cost?

  Should be possible to burn a recovery disc out from your laptop coz nowsadays laptop manufacturers put the recovery disc inside a hidden partition. As for how, I not too sure liao

  jus download from torrent if u wanna feel safe..

  Since it comes pre-installed, just use the Recovery Disc or the Recovery Partition to restore your laptop. MS Office 2007 will still be installed.

  Assuming that your pre-installed definition is when you buy the laptop, Office 2007 is already present. Not some company or school admin installed for you.

  Oh ok. Let's say I reinstalled windows, how do I still recover office?

  if you reinstalled windows , as in redoing the whole windows vista

   

  you will not be able to get your office 2007 installation back .  I think you have to try a pir3ted cd to install your office 2007

  If you recover to factory default settings / a partition image of your windows vista then the office 2007 should be inside

  ok, when you mean pre installed, does it mean when you got the notebook, it's already inside and it's a trial software so you bought the cd key/ license from microsoft's website

  If you bought the license from microsoft website then it would be simple!!

  The license is in your digital locker in windowsmarketplace.com, and thus you will only need to download one one office 2007 trial and burn it into a cd-r/dvd-r up to you. then  wala! you have a installation disc.

  I just ask you one question. Is Office already installed when you bought the notebook? Or was it installed in school or company?

  Hi kenneth and mayi,

  I'm not very sure actually, but the guy at Courts sold me a licence, so I expect it should be preinstalled? He only popped in that disc when helping me to set up, no other discs.

  Do take note, if u reformat, your office 2007 will be gone. Cause it's a programme that's installed in your computer after it was setup.

  Btw, did the courts guy give you the license number?

  If yes, then follow my steps. Download microsoft office 2007 trial from microsoft then burn it into a cd.

  then nxt time just key in the license number.
