graphics tablet

  i intend to get myself a graphics tablet for digital art. is there a good mid-range graphics tablet to recommend? i'm not a serious designer (yet) so i dont need a pro one but i dont want a cheapo piece of crap either.

  my sis currently using the Wacom Graphire for painting digital arts using photoshop and is actually quite gd which cost around $280+ bought at funan mall (dont go challenger).but my sis regretted not buying a better one because she wanted to do some serious designing now so i recommend u to buy Wacom Intuos which cost around 400 to 600+. dont need to change and change very mafan.

  as far as i know, bamboo is wacom's low end tablet

  it has lesser pressure sensitivity levels than the graphire. so i dont know y u wont have to change with a bamboo to go into serious stuff.

  and a bamboo for 400 to 500?

  i saw a small(a5 i think) bamboo retailing at best denki for sgd145 only

  wait! or is there a high end bamboo?

  ya i m refering to intuos cost range around 400 to 600+ which has more pressure sensitivity levels and bigger drawing surface

  Personally bought the Bamboo series for Business Graphic Designing use and I'll say it's rather alright for me despite being a little "not-so-sensitive" since I'm looking for petite ones with high portability =)

  Biz graphic designing is quite okay lah..... i will say its quite sufficient..
