knn vista

  Hey all, im using windows vista home premium, from time to time my start menu, with all the programs will get all clustered together and thus i cannot click anything from the startmenu and programs.
  
  Even Alt+tab doesnt work, the only way is to restart the com, how do i resolve this?

  Either it's Vista buggy or something else.
  
  Try updating it if it's not yet updated.

  Crap piece of OS as I say.
  
  Any other programs installed recently?
  
  Kindly crash Explorer and restart it to see if it works.
  
  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc
  
  2. Click on Show all processes (or whatever is that button name. Got one shield next to it)
  
  3. Locate explorer.exe and click on End Process
  
  4. Click on File > New Process (Run...)
  
  5. Type in explorer.exe and press Enter

  the real command is ctrl -shift - esc.

  Pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc should solve the problem

  bloody vista, eat up my ram....1gig also not enough if you open those demanding application.....xp still better although vista looks nice

  vista is crap....even windows SE98 is so much better than it.. tats y i never upgrade when M$ release a new OS.. i'd rather wait a year or 2 at the very least...

  I am a Redhat supporter here, as i studying in sp networking, have ex.student working in redhat.... so i quite love using redhat since last year...

  Red Hat sucks big time.
  
  OpenSuse is actually better. Maybe CentOS, but I'm very biased against any Red Hat or Red Hat based OSes.

  Ctrl + Alt + delete = start/logon screen then u select task manager or so
  
  Ctrl + Shift + Esc = task manager straight away
  
  gLc your comp still got prob?
  
  I'm using Vista Home Premium for a few months or so and its still good leh
  
  what brand ur com? RAM?
