died...accidently shift folder now corrupted

  can some1 help me..just now i accidently shift the folder wrongly and cancel it..and then when i check back at my folder it is corrupted T,T can help...used a file recovery software recommanded by mayi on a previous thread but still cannot piece back the game... and i think the disk image of the game also gone i dont mind saving just the disk image
  
  btw the file recovery software is pc inspector file recovery

  NTFS or FAT32?
  
  
  
  Open My Computer
  
  Right click on the drive (usually C drive) where the folder is in
  
  Select Properties
  
  Select General tab

  NTFS shouldn't corrupt so easily.
  
  Try chkdsk and fix the errors.
  
  No guarantee that the files will be recovered.
  
  If it's C drive
  
  Start > Run and type in chkdsk /f

  its in another partition of my hard disk named D drive...

  died T.T it says chkdsk canot run cos its in another process it can run if its dismounted... i m using vista

  Restart the computer for chkdsk to run.

  thanks it ran...but the problem not resolved... some how the game still cannot start.. nvm bah..guess i redownload the thing again...thanks for the help
