  A water-cooling system is powered externally through A/C, and no way on Earth would the LED/UV lights in the casing raise the power supply requirement to 1 kW unless you are operating some army-grade laser gun in it. If you have one, please point it at his head and ask him whether 1kW really is the minimum.

  I just googled around and found out that the liquid pump is actually powered by the ATX power supply, using around 20W of power. Sorry for the factual error above.

  And you'll still need to point the laser gun at his head before he would recommend a more appropriate PSU for you .

  From 2.4 to 3 is safe as long as there is sufficient ventilation for the casing.

  I would runn XP pro, i put 4gb of RAM, the ram i use KIT, anyway, 2gb ram i use liao oso lag in multitasking, like open dreamweaver(with 8-10 webpage open), photoshop, i tunes, msn, sometimes windows movie maker or sony vegas.....

  Consider a 22" Samsung or LG ba.

  2) Better performances.
  3) No irritating 'Are you sure you want to continue' dialog everytime you run every single program.
  4) Better user-friendlyness.
  5) Vista operating system sucks to the core.
  6) The perception of vista is that the operating system really does suck.
  
  Yes, I know Vista service pack 1 is releasing soon and after that it might improve. So is XP, it going to release service pack 3 soon. Tests* have shown that the service pack 1 improvement to vista is not overwhelming.

  A year after its launch, only 13 percent of businesses have adopted Vista, according to a survey of IT professionals.

  But many games and software are not compatible with Macs wor. I think mainly graphic designers and office users would go for them. And of course, for those who want to make heads turn when surfing the net at a public cafe as well.

  and i intent to buy a 20" TV to use as monitor, cheaper then wadt the shop is selling

  i guess you had all the answer ... i feel that 1000 watt power supply would be for server that need to drive many harddisk drive like a raid system ... other then that for a home pc you really don't need that kind of power with just a single harddisk in your computer casing ...

  is $230 for antec 900 too expensive? cos i saw other shop selling @ $205

  For the GFX card, it depends on which revision of GTS you are comparing with. The G92 one for the 8800GTS 512MB model performs better than the 8800GT 512MB card.

  I'm not sure if the Antec casing is overpriced or something, but if you look around 5 or 6 shops and they are selling around that price, then you shouldn't be pretty far from the "correct" price. Anyway, if you see that another shop was selling for $205, why not use that to bargain with your retailer you are dealing with for a lower price?
