but photobucket can't display it as thumbnail and click to enlarge right?Originally posted by technoboy:I have some problems loading pictures into blogger as well. Sometimes after I load it, people who view my blog can't enlarge the pic.
I now upload to photobucket and link my pictures to my blog. Works for me
got example? can show me the coding?Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:I am not too sure if this will work.
Example DSC12345 and DSC12345small.
I'll post the small picture and link it to the big one..
its not a browser problemOriginally posted by wishboy:maybe using IE7 can solve the problem?
thanks abao for the suggestion but what this do is to resize the picture to fit width: 500px; height: 375px. i tried it, the result is the thumbnail will turn out looking distortedOriginally posted by abao:
yes indeed Flickr is very good in resizing but the medium resize they can give me is (500 x 375) but blogger wisth is only 460 in width. thus a portion of the picture will be cut off.Originally posted by Y_Shun:what image are u uploading?
if u want it to be auto resize, try Flickr or photobucket.
I know Flickr does very good auto sizing[thumbnails] for pictures.
theres another way which is insert the image into a website editor,[dreamweaver/frontpage] resize ur image by shifting the edges, ur picture won't be distorted then.
Gordon, 500px x 375px is only as a reference. I use tt for my own pics at blogger. You can always set percentages.Originally posted by Gordonator:thanks abao for the suggestion but what this do is to resize the picture to fit width: 500px; height: 375px. i tried it, the result is the thumbnail will turn out looking distorted
blogger resize the picture regardless of how big the picture is into a standard size and the thumbnail quality is very good. just that the stupid thing is that they cannot display the picture in bigger resolution.
oh. ok i get it nowOriginally posted by Gordonator:yes abao i understand. but the problem is still the same, not matter how u adjust the width, height, percentage the image will still be distorted.
the thumbnail quality will never be as nice as Flickr or blogger.
but after playing around with various methods i have finally found the perfect way to solve the problem.
i use the thumbnail generated by blogger and use photobucket to display the bigger picture.
