My computer auto restart when playing games

When I try to play any of the games install in my pc, it will load up the games but after awhile when the games are loading, the pc auto shutdown and restart. I have try Counter Strike ( steam server ) and Brothers In Amrs. Both having same problems.

Sounds like your PSU not powderful enuff. Either that, or your graphics card is faulty. I check using the software that comes wif the graphic card. Its working fine. At first I also suspect its the GFX card. But I rule out now. The PSU, its 650W leh. Been using since last year Dec. pl remove all card from mother board / full clean with vacum cleaner . after re fixed may be you problem ok .if not ask again

Possible. Run a stress test on both the CPU and the GFX card of your computer. If it reboots, it's a heat issue, otherwise, it has something to do with the game or graphics drivers.Originally posted by manyu882:heat problems? maybe? -
Should be heat problem.
Check your insides for dust accumulation.

I clean up everything inside but since its only 2 months old, very clean. Uninstall driver and install again. Guess wat? pc hang and restart in safe mode. Reformat ( lost all my games ) and now load in all s/w. Dun dare to click the games icon again.

hmm my computer auto restarted once in a while. like just last week, i was watching show, then it restarted.
but it happens maybe like once a year la.. -
i'm using the vtune software for my cpu. When i tried to max the speed to see what happens, the com crash when starting the game cod4. But for cs nothing happen leh. weird.
