Problem When Booting Computer :(

I need some help here pls!!..
Problem 1 :
Desktop/Computer
- Each time i boot up, it will go to the "User Log-In Page" (although there is just 1 user account, the main account).
- So I click the account to log-in, then it says "Logging in".
- A few seconds later it says "Logging out".
- Back to the "User account page"
It happen some weeks ago. I've not been able to use the desktop ever since as each time i power it up, it will boot to the Log In page and I can't log in.
Problem 2 :
Laptop
- Ever since I reformatted the laptop, the Date and Time settings have been weird.
- Every time i boot the laptop, the date will either be 1966 or 2066. (back to the past and future )
- I've tried changing it back (through the Date n Time Settings) to the current date but it still won't work.
- I've written to the laptop company (A***) and they say to set the date on the BIOS page.
- But the problem still happens.
- They have told me to go to their service centre but its is so far away. Its at Jurong and I'm in Tampines.
I have been to the service centre multiple times and every time i sent my laptop there, they say they would send it to me (home deliver). However, i end up having to collect myself.
PLS help me!! -

Try booting into safe mode by spamming the Fate (F8) button when Windows is loading. Remove all startup items under the Start > Run > msconfig > Startup tab and try booting into Windows normally again. If it still doesn't work,
1. Run an anti-virus scan on safe mode.
2. Wait for anty's reply. She would probably have a better solution for you.
3. Wipe out your disk and do a reformat, and reinstall Windows. (last resort)
P2: I have done some googling and it was said to have something to do with the CMOS battery which may require replacement in this case. Check out the links below for more information.

Problem 1.
If you happen to have just fix a spyware problem after some Googling or searching, kindly reformat your laptop.
There's a reason why there's no self help fixes here. Break something, nobody's going to repair for you. All those tools are not meant to be ran without any helpers' supervision. -
if the 2 other method doesn't work,
go to safe mode ,
open a notepad
type this in : shutdown -a
save it as "all files"
save name: abort_shutdown.bat
save it at: :\Documents and Settings\\Start Menu\Programs\startup.
shut down and restart. lets hope that it goes into windows before logging out.

P1 sounds so familiar. I think used to be those little pranks people used to play. But on a more serious note, could be corrupted registry files or malware.

Problem 1 :
- Like LatecomerX n manyu882 said, I've just tried booting the computer in "Safe Mode". I still get to the User account page and still not able to log-in successfully.
- I've tried all 3 Safe Mode but still won't work. It still keep Logging Off instantly.
Problem 2 :
- LatecomerX , u said something bout the battery being faulty. So it seems that i still have to go the service centre.
ndmmxiaomayi , i believe u r refering to problem 2 right?? I've just reformatted my laptop when this thing happens. (still waitin for other suggestions) -
I'm referring to Problem 1. Not problem 2. Problem 1 has been known to be caused by malware and some people who go about using self help fixes after some Googling or searching in some other search engines.

Oh...Ok...slight misunderstanding....
I believe the problem isn't cause by the "self help fix".
I have never tried doing does stuff..There were no problems before that, so theres no reason for me to go around looking for self-help fix.
Anyway, the computer is only used by my younger brothers to play games. I will only touch the computer when ever they claim there is a problem.(!Like Now!) It could not have been possible for them to be lookin for FIX without me knowing that there is a problem like malware in the 1st place.
I think i will look into the possibilities of reformatting the computer. Is there any way i could back-up important files 1st.?? -
I don't know if it's possible if you can't log in.
If it's not possible, you can boot up to Recovery Console and start backing up your files.
Only if you have the XP installation CD. Not Recovery CD, which most branded companies will provide.
