MP390 Ink Problem

  Hi guys, need some pointers!
  
  Problem:
  1. Black Ink printing shows white horizontal strikes despite numverous deep cleaning and other maintenance.
  2. Color Ink printing shows absolutely nothing.
  
  Deduction:
  Possible printer head blockage due to heavy reliance to 3rd party ink cartridges.
  
  Questions:
  1. Do I send it for servicing at Canon Service Center? Get a printer head and install it myself? Or just get a new printer? I need an all-in-one printer.
  2. Which brand of 'pirated' ink is recommended? I do heavy black printing.

  I would suggest getting a new black cartridge.

  Went down to the service center afterall.
  
  For the black ink problem: Faulty Print Head
  Color Ink problem: Faulty Ink Purger
  
  Opted Solution: Traded in for MX700.
  
  Didn't even use the fax once and it spoilt... tsk...
