Need help choosing a laptop

  Thanks for all the replies. I have conveyed your opinions and suggestions to her and she is considering about her choice of laptop for now.

  my evaluation done last time...not too peachy....substandard performance...
  
  long battery life...as if.....

  I wouldn't doubt how its lasting quality. But like IBM products, you probably pay for the brand name rather than the quality.
