Need help choosing a laptop

for a friend of mine. She says "no budget set", so I assume she wants the most bang for the buck one. Any recommendation?

did wireless test in the rain before

so sad gonna give it away end of this month......

Acer is able to stand those test... but after the warranty dies... you will know... sigh. -

I have owned 4 Acers. Great value for money but durability? Not so much.
Plastic is cheap and flimsy. Palmrest tends to sag. Plastic around hinges tends to break. -
