help help~!!!

  I was charging my new Sony walkman..
  
  but wonder why everytime i charge, i only see 'DATA ACCESS, DO NOT DISCONNECT' instead of the battery logo..
  
  so i tried to stop device by choosing 'disable' under 'device usage'
  
  and arghhhhh my computer totally cannot detect the device liao.

  if your usb is give by sony-e company. Its just a data transfer cable. grey in color. You connect it, the battery seems to be charging. but its not actually.
  
  suggestion > buy a real usb charger

  there's no cable..
  
  it's just like a thumb drive, slot it in the usb port.

  Referring to the picture you provided, select Enable instead of Disable...

  suddenly i had an idea
  
  went to control panel>add hardware and troubleshoot from there..
  
  it's enabled now! yeah...
  
  but now i wonder.. for those who use sony mp3 player.. how would u know whether ur mp3 player is charging or fully charged when u can't see the battery logo?
