  If I have no choice I will get used to it... but
  
  Singnet sucks really big-time... www.gmail.com and this site has lots of problems (no problem when I am on the internet backbone) and I am almost always on these two sites when I am online...

  gmail sometimes load halfway cannot load.

  I used to think that it was gmail's fault.... turns out it is singnet's fault... I think what they do is, they apportion you a segment of bandwidth for a split millisecond and then you go to the bottom of the queue and if during that time they allocate to you, the page has not stopped loading, you have to wait until you queue number comes up again to continue.
  
  Worse, if the site resets and starts to resend everything again.

  Did you see the Firefox sticky? It does have disastrous effects.
  
  Anyway... it's just Singnet. Using a proxy wouldn't help. If this occurs during a transmission, the website will still take a long time to load, till you stop and refresh it.
