computer cannot start

when i power on my computer, the cdrom light keep flashing and the screen is blank
why is this happening? yesterday when i shut down everything is still ok -

Check if your computer fan is turning. If it doesn't turn, it can't start too

check if U are using onboard video or from graphics card.
CD-ROM drive light will flash for a while at the beginning to detect inserted CD,if any. -

Remove any disc in the optical drive. Change the boot order to 1st: HDD. If it still doesn't work, temporarily remove the optical drive and see whether the problem goes away.

RAM spoil and no beep sounds. Are you one of branded users or those users who set it not to beep?
