  recently my sis change address type to: manually configured .
  
  how to i change back to auto?
  
  another one is my internet loading is slow and sometime can't go to sgforums and etc
  
  i think is due to she change my "bandwrith "(i dun know how to spell"
  
  i found out that she went to gpedit.msc.
  
  how do i change back to last time the brandwirth %?

  Can you be more specific? What has been changed? What address type?
  
  There are more than a thousand settings in Windows to be figured out.
  
  And since she can access Group Policy Editor, I'm going to assume that this is an XP Pro or Vista machine.

  ok now i will be more specifier.
  
  Last time my connection status box shown address type automatic. But right now it is manually configured.

  This is called specific. I figured it out anyway.
  
  

  [*]Go to Start > Control Panel. Double click on Network Connections.
  [*]Right click on your default connection and select Properties.
  [*]Select the General tab.
  [*]Double click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) under This connection uses the following items:
  [*]Select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.
  [*]Click OK twice to save the settings. Reboot when prompted to.
  [*]Go to Start > Run and type in cmd.
  [*]Type in the following in the code box line by line, pressing Enter after each line:

  ipconfig /renew
  ipconfig /flushdns

  Just a note for you... your sister's computer settings has to be changed as well... otherwise the IP address will conflict.
