  im using singnet 10mbps plan with the 2700-hgv2 modem. when i view my homenetwork, i can only see my brother's pc but not mine. so even though im connected to the internet, i cant edit my firewall settings for this pc so that i can allow individual programs when forwarding port. local network shows there is wireless but my ethernet is not. so how do i enable my pc to be shown?
  
  in addition i cant access homeportal as well

  where u view your home network?
  
  in cmd or in your router or in any third party software?

  im using windows xp. view via gateway.2wire.net

  lol.. than u have to figure yourself or go google it cos none of us have the modem unless tyco got people same raouter as u. you can try creating homenetwork same as your bro
