AVG and virus

  recently i dl AVG spyware on my gf laptop. then when i scan, they say muz restart to clear the virus.
  
  Nevermind, I restart. But then,keep coming out when I turn on the laptop! LIke i turn on they say muz restart to work. Then I press yes auto restart, No, it will keep promting forever! how!?

  the prob is, when i turn on the com, it keeps popping up without a waiting time in between. when i wan to click other things, it just pops up immediately. what can i do other than reformat?

  go safe mode then uninstall or system restore to before the installation date??
